  • Medication prescribing,

We prescribe both stimulant and non-stimulant medications to patients who have been diagnosed by ourselves for ADHD in accordance with NICE NG87 guidelines. We do not prescribe for ADHD diagnosed patients who have been diagnosed with any other clinic. Our approach is centred on providing safe, evidence-based care tailored to each individual’s needs, preferences, and clinical profile. Following our  comprehensive assessment, we work collaboratively with patients to explore appropriate treatment options, ensuring that any prescribed medication is suitable, effective, and closely monitored.

Stimulant medications are often considered first-line treatments and can be highly effective in reducing core ADHD symptoms such as inattention, impulsivity, and hyperactivity. Where stimulants are not suitable, not tolerated, or not preferred, we also offer a range of non-stimulant alternatives. These options can provide meaningful symptom relief and may be particularly beneficial for individuals with coexisting conditions or specific risk factors.

All prescribing decisions are made in line with national clinical standards, with careful consideration of potential benefits, side effects, and ongoing monitoring requirements. We emphasise regular follow-up and review to optimise outcomes and support long-term wellbeing. Our goal is to provide a balanced, patient-focused treatment pathway that integrates medication, education, and where appropriate, broader therapeutic support

All appointments are face to face, delivered by our multidisciplinary team, including a GMC-registered psychiatrist, HCPC/BPS-registered psychologists, psychotherapists, educators, speech-and-language-trained clinicians, neurodevelopmental coaches, and counsellors. We do not use external diagnosis providers.

We support individuals of all ages from toddlers to adults helping them understand their neurodiversity and reach their full potential.
